We have excellent news: the final version of Filter Forge 9.0 has been released! It adds full support for physically-based rendering (PBR) – the industry standard for real-world texturing in 3D modeling and rendering. Filter Forge 9 supports texture generation and packing for Unity 2018, Unreal Engine 4, and other 3D engines.
Other improvements include a new Note component for filter authors and the option to add notes to filter presets, enhanced ability to apply several effects to the same source image and a way to rename filters outside Filter Editor. Filter Forge 9 also supports the latest host applications including Adobe Photoshop 2020 and Corel PaintShop Pro 2020.
